was there ever officially a miata/mx 5 gulf edition?
my attempts at figuring it out with the googles just lead back to the one i found for sale
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
just wondering if its just a dealer making shit up to sell a car with a fancy paintjob (wich does look good on it) or if its actually something a lil bit specialer
not that it matters for me as i cant has a 2 seater... need space for 3 and cats

Wouldn’t have made sense for them to make a Gulf edition. Mazda has never run a factory racing program in Gulf colors. Also, most official special editions I have seen based on motorsport colors have copied only the colors and left the sponsor logos off.

makes sense
wonder if calling it a gulf edition would then be considered false advertising?

Prob only calling it that because that’s how the previous owner had it done up. There was never an official Gulf Edition.

It’s bullshit, this car’s been for sale on Marktplaats forever. There used to be a private seller selling a ‘Martini Edition’ mx-5 too.

Wow, it sure looks good though. That’s one of the nice things about small cars, they can look good even in loud shades. You can paint a Miata any which way, it still won’t offend the eyes like a big fat car, or worse, a bigger, fatter SUV, in bright colors.
Of course, the love
ly
Gulf colors are especially soothing to the spe
ctator.
Still, imagine, say,
a Yukon in Gulf blue-n-orange! Yuck!
